Prices and some background

If you are regulars at our Spring Festival you will noticed from the new prices in the booking section that we have had to make a slight increase to endeavour to cover the costs of the meet. If more of you can come next year, we may even make a small profit to help the Folk Group funds. In making this decision we have looked around at similar eventsd elsewhere.

For example, We looked at the ‘Early Bird’ tickets for Chippenham Folk Festival, which some members go to and this is what they are charging for 2026.  A 3 day ticket is £153.80, Youth 11-15 £77.05, 3 day ticket plus camping is £199.64, Youth £99.97.  These prices are considerably more than we charge.One way we keep our costs so low is by using our members as volunteers for everything.
