This national event is a little different. The Early Season Residential Gather is a non-camping, pre-booked, event, and takes place in a large hotel with facilities for dances. There will also be craft, dancing, music and other workshops. This makes an enjoyable start to the camping season.

One important function of this meet is to enable members who are not able to camp to continue to feel part of the group, meet up with friends and enjoy activities. Recently it has taken place on the South Coast, enabling winter walks along the sea front from the hotel and an active bus service to other nearby seaside towns.

The 2027 event will be at the Cumberland hotel in Eastbourne from Friday 26th February to Monday 1st March.  Booking forms will be available in October 2026.  Please get in touch if you would like to join in or find out more.
